IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Workers

Individuals who already work within or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce will benefit from this course, it will help them to understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site.

This course will give learners an understanding of everyone’s safety, health and environmental responsibilities on a construction site. It will allow them to understand how they can contribute to the continual improvement of safety, health and environmental issues and help them to clearly understand their responsibilities.

What you will learn

  • Identify the importance of working safely on a construction site
  • Identify everyone’s responsibilities in relation to safety, health and wellbeing on a construction site
  • Identify how law can have an impact on construction sites
  • Identify construction site hazards and risk, their impact and how to control them

Assessment: Delegates must complete a written test.

Certification: On successful completion of this course each delegate will receive an IOSH certificate
