This course is designed to ensure organisations meet their legal requirements and reduce the risk of accidents caused by reversing vehicles.
This course would benefit anyone whose duties include controlling vehicles moving around site and into live traffic routes.
Vehicle Banking training aims to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to control the movement of vehicles on site safely. It allows delegates to understand the problems inherent in this function and to learn the safety systems of work for this task.
This half-day training course can be delivered at your chosen premises, the cost is £495+VAT for up to 10 delegates.
What you will learn
- An understanding of the dangers inherent in banking vehicles
- How to ensure the safe passage of reversing vehicles
- The ability to give signals to vehicle drivers using a variety of methods effectively
- An understanding of your own responsibilities as well as those of drivers visiting your site
Assessment: Delegates must complete a written test and a practical assessment.
Certification: On successful completion of this course each delegate will receive a certificate valid for 5 years.
