Overview

Knowledge and skills relating to equality and diversity are now an essential part of the manager’s toolkit. This Equality and Diversity training course discusses the legal, ethical and moral responsibilities of modern organisations of today.

Aims

The aims of the course are to ensure that managers and leaders understand the implications of the 2010 Equality Act, and other legislation, and the potential impact on the business. Additionally, for managers and leaders to understand the benefits of promoting and reinforcing an inclusive culture.

People from all levels of management who are responsible for managing other employees

On successful completion of this course delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the full range of protected characteristics within the 2010 Equality Act
  • Understand how to avoid costly discrimination claims
  • Understand best practice in creating an inclusive culture
  • Learn from real case studies of discrimination

There are no formal assessments instead there are classroom based exercises and discussions.

This Equality and Diversity training course can be held at our training venue in Sandy, Bedfordshire for £225 + VAT per person.

Alternatively we can hold this management training course as in-house training at your business premises for between four and 12 delegates for a total of £450 + VAT. This offers the ability to train multiple members of staff at the same time in an environment where they feel comfortable. It also means that you save time away from the workplace and save money on travel and accommodation.
