Your answer will probably depend on the industry you work in and the sort of role the candidate is applying for. But as more and more people choose to get themselves tattooed, the likelihood is that, in a pool of candidates, there will be body art of some description.
It is said that almost one in three people aged between 16 and 44 now has a tattoo. Acas has warned employers that those who take a negative attitude to tattoos could find themselves missing out on talented employees. You can read the independent report on this here:
