The CITB CSkills Site Environmental Awareness (SEATS) training course is designed to give candidates the basic environmental knowledge required to enable them to identify, control and minimise the environmental aspects of their work, and where possible identify environmental improvement opportunities.
Who should attend?
This CITB accredited certificate has been designed for all construction supervisors and managers, junior environmental practitioners, land managers, conservationists and decision-makers.
This course focuses on:
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
There is a supplementary cost of £70 +VAT per person to cover CITB Publication and Certification fees.
This course is carried out at your company premises and can accommodate a maximum of 20 delegates.
At the end of the course delegates will have gained knowledge and skills in:
- What the environment is and why it is important
- Outline of environmental management systems
- Waste management
- Pollution prevention and water management
- Good neighbour – statutory nuisance, communication
- Archaeology and heritage
- Energy and resources
- Being a responsible contractor
