Today is dedicated to firefighters all over the world, who dedicate their lives to saving ours. They work extremely hard to protect our communities and they deserve our appreciation. Let’s send our thoughts to firefighters who have lost their lives and to those who continue to protect us so well throughout the year. To get involved in International Firefighter’s Day you can wear a red and blue ribbon – with red symbolising fire and blue for water.
THSP Risk Management are extremely passionate about the safety of each individual person. Sadly, from April 2015 to March 2016 there were 303 fire related fatalities and 7,661 casualties in fires in England. Let’s make 2017 a year where we decrease this as much as we possibly can.
What are your responsibilities?
As the responsible person you must carry out and regularly review a fire risk assessment of the premises. Your fire risk assessment must identify what actions you need to take to prevent fire and keep people safe. If your business has 5 or more people you must keep a record of your fire risk assessment.

Our Live Action Plan is created to provide cost effective solutions for any areas where you are failing to comply with current legislation. A jargon-free report provides a summary of colour coded risks, listed in order of priority. Each risk has a detailed report covering:
- The reason why it is not compliant with fire regulations

- Where its located including specific site details
- Who is responsible for overseeing the risk
- When it needs to be completed by.
The Action Plan also includes notes from our experienced consultant together with floor plans and photos, to show you exactly what and where the problem is.
