Andrew Wilson

Andrew joined THSP in 2011, having spent a number of years working in the construction and care industries.  He has a wealth of operational understanding and knowledge as our Head of Employment Law and HR services.

Andrew is known by our clients as a tenacious and commercially focused lawyer with a depth of employment law knowledge that his colleagues think is outstanding.  Andrew admits he has a ‘soap box’ passion for self-employment and status, and enjoys delving into case law on this subject. Although we think he is equally at home on all subjects in his field.

Andrew leads by example when it comes to great customer relationships.  He has developed a well-known mantra at THSP of being ‘responsive, bespoke and supportive’ with clients, and he often reminds people that ‘it’s good to talk’.

When he has any spare time, Andrew does like to spend as much time as possible with his wife and two young boys. He is a keen racquet sport player (always looking for a new opponent), a swimmer and mountain biker. While at home Andrew is an experimental cook, usually with a good glass of red nearby!
