Our Health and Safety Consultant Director, Chris Ivey, has issued a statement regarding how THSP intend to continue supporting our customers during the current difficult times.
“No doubt many of you, like us have been considering what steps your business should take to maintain business continuity in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Here at THSP, we are following the current official guidance from the Government, which for businesses is to work from home where possible, avoid non-essential use of public transport and to avoid large gatherings.
We understand however that for many of our customers, there is no work at home option.
The health and safety risks to employees beyond Covid-19 continue to exist. Whilst your employees continue to work on construction sites or in engineering, manufacturing or retail, we will continue to support you.
All our consultants recognise the importance of maintaining positive health and safety standards during these difficult times, so we are committed to carrying on providing site inspections.
We are also continuing to deliver training, albeit under conditions to ensure social distancing. We are also making sure that classrooms are cleaned before, during and after every course and that an ample supply of hand sanitiser, tissues and antibacterial wipes are available. We have contacted everyone on upcoming courses and will be leaving the option to attend, to the candidate. If they suspect they have symptoms or anyone in their immediate family does or has done within the preceding 14 days, they are not to attend, or if they just wish to defer to a later date, we will keep their place open and as soon as the conditions change we will reconvene the courses.
We will continue to monitor the situation and take the best advice from HM Government. Our aim as always will be to provide the best support to ensure the health and safety of our customers and their employees.
For those customers who use our Employment Law service we will continue to support you as usual through this challenging time.
We wish all of you and your families the best health.”
In order to further support you through these challenging times, we have amended our cancellation terms. As long as you give us more than 24 hours notification, you will not be charged for a cancelled visit. If you cancel within 24 hours the cancellation charge has been reduced to 50% of the initial visit price.
We would appreciate your help, by letting us know in advance if you are unable to attend any training courses.
