CITB SMSTS exams have changed
The exam is in two parts:
Part A of the question paper is 18 multiple choice questions, each worth 1 mark.
Part B of the question paper is 7 questions, each worth 2 marks.
The exam is now 35 minutes long and for the last 15 minutes, delegates will be allowed to refer to the GE700 publication.
The pass mark has changed from 80% to 81%, and delegates will need to achieve 26 marks out of the possible 32.
The old ‘Safety Critical’ questions have been removed.
If your CITB certificate expired after 30th October 2020 you have until 30th April 2021 to renew it via a refresher course. After this date, you will have to resit the entire course to renew your certificate.
