About The Health and Safety People
Since our launch in 1992, The Health and Safety People Ltd has grown into one of the UK’s most respected health and safety consultancies with over 1200 UK and International clients.
Employing over 25 health and safety consultants throughout the UK, whose expertise covers all aspects of construction, manufacturing, service and leisure industries, The Health and Safety People Ltd is well equipped to provide a bespoke health and safety service to meet the health and safety needs of all clients in all industries.
Health and Safety Consultants
All health and safety consultants have a formal safety qualification backed up by extensive practical experience. The Health and Safety People Ltd also ensure that training in changes to legislation is regularly given to ensure consultants Continued Professional Development. All consultants hold membership of IOSH with senior staff registered as Chartered Members of IOSH.
In addition, many safety consultants hold specialist qualifications in particular fields, including Asbestos Supervision, Scaffold Inspection and First Aid at Work. Several are health and safety trainers.
A broad range of backgrounds in all aspects of construction, manufacturing, service and leisure industries allows The Health and Safety People Ltd to match health and safety consultants closely with our client's individual health and safety requirements.
Standards and Accreditations
The Health and Safety People Ltd is accredited with the ISO9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards and has been Investors In People since 1999.
The Health and Safety People Ltd is a corporate member of the Association for Project Safety (APS), Independent Safety Consultants Association (ISCA), National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) and affiliate members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA). We have recently been granted membership of Constructionline.
Office Support
Our health and safety consultant team is supported by well qualified administrative staff, overseen by four directors at our Bedfordshire Head Office.
We ensure that staff are mindful of their responsibilities to clients at all times, particularly in matters of confidentiality, with specific training given in the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
